The flume they finished in 1926 turned dry bean fields into avocado groves, and a modernized version of that same system still feeds the Escondido-Vista treatment plant today. CAMERA INSPECTIONS
Mature trees plus decades-old clay and cast-iron laterals are a bad combination: roots find the joints, grease finds the low spots, and you find out at the worst time. A camera inspection takes the guessing out.
